Drying this afternoon, bitterly cold tonight
Very chilly heading into the weekend
Snow winds down as we head into the early afternoon. This afternoon we’ll start to dry out with temperatures beginning to drop. Overnight will be clear and cold with lows around 10°.
Mainly sunny on Friday but a chilly day expected, highs will only be in the low to mid 20s. It won’t be overly windy, but even a light wind will make us feel even cooler. Overnight into Saturday morning we’ll dip back down into the low teens. An offshore system on Saturday looks to miss us but some clouds will roll through, it stays cold with highs in the upper 20s and there may be a bit of a breeze. While most of us stay dry Friday and Saturday, far eastern MA will be dealing with some ocean enhanced snow showers at times.
Sunday will start chilly with temperatures in the teens. Expect partly sunny conditions through the day with highs in the mid 30s.
Next week starts dry with morning temperatures in the upper teens and afternoon highs in the low 30s. Expect a mix of sun and clouds Monday. Tracking another system Tuesday into Wednesday that may bring snow to the area. Stay tuned for details as we get closer.
