Beautiful weekend after a Friday’s tornadoes
The NWS has confirmed 4 area tornadoes from Friday morning
Providence, RI (WLNE) — Just weeks after tornadoes spun through parts of Southeast Mass, the same happened again Friday morning.
This time, Rhode Island also got in on the action as well.
The NWS has confirmed 4 tornadoes in all:
- Scituate to Johnston area
- North Attleboro /Mansfield
- Stoughton
- Weymouth
NWS crews were out all day Friday surveying the damage, and will continue to fine-tune the specifics of each tornado over the weekend.
Fortunately, the storms are over and the weather has turned fantastic. Tonight will be clear, cool and crisp with lows in the upper 50s and low 60s.
Sun will give way to clouds in the afternoon on Saturday but it will still be a pleasant day. Highs will top out in the mid and upper 70s.
Sunday will feel more like summer, with sunny skies and highs 80-85. Warm weather continues on Monday before a weak backdoor cold front cools temps back into the 70s for the rest of the week.
Stay tuned to ABC6 for more information as we follow this situation.
