Mother Convicted of Killing Daughter In Court Arguing for New Trial

Kimberly Mawson, the mother who may have been wrongly convicted of murdering his child, is back in court today.

Mawson was released from the ACI in June after being convicted of killing her daughter.  During her 2007 trial, her then-boyfriend Daniel Fusco testified against her.  Now Fusco's lawyer says that Fusco in fact lied to police and that he was responsible for the death of the 19 month-old girl.

Mawson appeared in Wakefield Superior Court today arguing for a new trial.
