UPDATE: Police ID man killed in Foxborough motorcycle crash

FOXBOROUGH, M.A. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police have identified a 56-year-old Millis man that was killed in a motorcycle crash on July 21st.

Troopers responded to Washington Street on Route one, just north of Main Street around 8:50 a.m., for the report of a crash involving a motorcycle.

Upon arrival, the operator of the motorcycle, identified as Stephen Boyd, was transported to Norwood Hospital where he was pronounced deceased by medical personnel. 

Authorities said the preliminary investigation indicates a vehicle travelling northbound and took a left turn crossing the southbound lane to enter a parking lot.

The motorcycle which was traveling in the right travel lane on the southbound side struck the right rear of the car while it was in the process of turning

The operator of the vehicle, identified as a 20-year-old woman from Plainville was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
