Motorcyclist killed in Burrillville crash

BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Burrillville Police Department said Tuesday that a motorcyclist is dead after a crash Monday night.

According to police, at around 6 p.m., they were dispatched to the intersection at Broncos Highway and Lapham Farm Road for reports of a car and a motorcycle that collided.

First responders declared the motorcyclist dead on the scene.

The Rhode Island Medical Examiner was contacted and took custody of the deceased, police said.

ABC 6 News crews were on the scene were investigators closed the intersection for accident reconstruction.

No further information was immediately released.
