Multiple cars on fire in Providence early Tuesday morning

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – Providence firefighters were called to the scene of multiple cars on fire early Tuesday morning.

According to the department, the fire occurred in a privately owned vacant lot across residences around 4:00 AM.

The fire department reports that 4 cars were involved in the fire, and a total of 6 were damaged by the flames.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
