Mystery man leaves $100 bills at Fall River businesses

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE)- A random man is leaving $100 bills at several local businesses in Fall River.

One of those businesses was Supercuts at The SouthCoast Marketplace on William S Canning Blvd.

Stlyist Mckenna Ayala was working at the salon on Saturday, when he came in and left a $100 bill to split amongst her and her co workers.

“It was in the middle of our last rush of the day and some gentleman came in and gave our receptionist a $100 to split between all the stylists here. He said we were doing an amazing job and was really proud of us,” Ayala said.

Ayala said no one recognized him and he wasn’t there for a haircut.

During the same weekend, this man has also left $100 bills at surrounding businesses such as Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Five Guys and D’Angelo’s Grilled Sandwiches.

He left four $100 bills to split at D’Angelo’s Grilled Sandwiches.

ABC6 spoke with Fall River resident Eli Cook.

A man who’s niece was among the workers who split the money.

“Here’s a normal guy that comes and just says here, here’s a 100 dollars enjoy your day, god bless that man. I’m speechless,” Cook said.

This person has yet to be identified but all the businesses have given similar descriptions.

A worker at D’Angelo’s told ABC6 he was wearing a red hoodie.

Business owners we spoke with said the man would like to remain anonymous.
