Name released of officer who shot at suspect in Warren shooting

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Attorney General Peter Neronha’s office confirmed on Friday the name of the Bristol officer who shot at a murder suspect last week in Warren.
Major Scott McNally, who was responding to the incident, shot at the suspect, Michael Ouellette.
The AG’s office confirmed that Ouellette died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Ouellette shot and killed Asst. Fire Chief Brian Remy at the Italo-American Club.
