Neighbor dispute leads to triple shooting in Johnston, police say
JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — A neighbor dispute lead to a triple shooting in Johnston Wednesday morning, according to authorities.
The shooting happened at about just 7:30 a.m. on Ligian Court.

Chief Mark Vieira said Wednesday they responded to a home on that street after receiving two 911 calls of shots fired in the area.
When they arrived, Vieira said police found three shooting victims. Two of them died and the third — a 15-year-old girl — was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the suspect, James Harrison, was not at the scene when they arrived. That’s when police said they put out a BOLO to surrounding agencies.
Harrison, police said, was later shot and killed on the Johnston-Cranston line near the Interstate 295 overpass.
