New Bedford Cumberland Farms Employee Tests Positive for COVID-19
NEW BEDFORD, MASS (WLNE) – A New Bedford Cumberland Farms is temporarily closing it’s doors after a team member tested positive for coronavirus.
After the team member of the 757 Ashley Blvd location informed co-workers they tested positive, the store was closed at 5:30 pm on Tuesday to be sanitized by an industrial cleaning crew.
Cumberland Farms says they are taking all appropriate steps following guidance from local health officials.
All team members that work at that location have been contacted and advised to follow CDC-recommended guidelines.
According to Cumberland Farms, the location will re-open next week.
