New Bedford, Mass. — 45-year-old Walter DaSilva has been indicted by a Bristol County Grand Jury in connection to the July 3rd killing of his 19-year-old daughter Sabrina DaSilva.

Officials say the grand jury on Friday returned three indictments against DaSilva charging him in Superior Court with murder, carrying an illegal firearm, and unlawful possession of a loaded firearm.

DaSilva, formerly of Danbury, Conn., was arrested  in early August at a pizza parlor by U.S. Marshalls in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

The 45-year-old reportedly confessed to brutally shooting his daughter multiple times because she wanted to spend time her boyfriend on Father’s Day.

When first responders arrived on scene, they found Sabrina lying outside her Bedford Street apartment after returning from the grocery store with gunshot wounds.

The 19-year-old was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital and was where pronounced dead shortly after the arrival.
