New Bedford man gets life in prison after fatal stabbing

28-year-old Jose Carrion of New Bedford was convicted of murder in a 2012 nightclub stabbing and has been sentenced to life in prison.

Carrion stabbed 33-year-old Melvin Pina five times at New Bedford Underground Club in 2012.

Pina was found dead hours later in the back yard of a nearby house.

The incident started when Pina spilled a drink on Carrion.
