New Bedford mayor announces date for annual State of the City address

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — New Bedford Mayor Jon Mitchell will deliver his annual State of the City address next week.

Over 500 people are expected to attend, making it one of the state’s largest events of its kind.

It will be held as a luncheon event from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at New Bedford High School on May 3.

Registration is necessary in advance to attend.
