New Bedford police ask for public’s help in armed robbery investigation

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The New Bedford Police Department said they responded to a call for an armed robbery on Tuesday.

Police said at approximately 10:36 p.m., North End units responded to a residence at 122 Hathaway Rd. for a reported armed robbery.

Authorities said they were able to confirm that the incident did occur and are searching for a suspect at this time.
