New Bedford Police search for Armed Robbery suspect

New Bedford Police are searching for a suspect who is allegedly responsible for an armed robbery that happened at a Deli early Thursday morning.
Police are searching for Javante Antone, 18, of New Bedford who was last seen fleeing on foot on Summer Street after he allegedly entered the Royal 7 Food and Deli at 606 Summer Street on May 28th at 11:15 a.m. armed with a knife. He did not leave with any money.
Antone is wanted for one count of Attempted Armed Robbery.
He was described to be a white male with curly hair at the time of the robbery who was wearing black and a mask.
