New Bedford’s Feast of the Blessed Sacrament returns this summer

NEW BEDFORD, MASS (WLNE) – “It’s finally here! Come join us”, said the Feast of the Blessed Sacrament homepage, as it listed the coming dates for this year’s festivities.

The feast will begin on Thursday, July 29th, with the assembly of Festeiros at the intersection of Earle Street and Acushnet Avenue, led by the Feast President.

Also, continuous live entertainment on four stages will be present during all four days of the event.

Participants can treat themselves to traditional Madeiran Portuguese food at the Main Pavillion.

Admission is free to all of those who want to attend.

The festival will be on the following dates:

• July 29, 2021 – Thursday – 6:00 PM – 11:45 PM
• July 30, 2021 – Friday – 12 Noon – 11:45 PM
• July 31, 2021 – Saturday – 12 Noon – 11:45 PM
• August 1, 2021 – Sunday – 12 Noon – 11:45 PM
