MASHANTUCKET, Conn. (Sept. 30, 2010) – Three-time world title challenger Antwun “Kid Dynamite” Echols has replaced “Sucra” Ray Oliveira as Joey “KO Kid” Spina's opponent for Saturday night's main event on the “Last Man Standing” card in Fox Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn.
Echols (32-14, 28 KOs), who lost a pair of world title fights to Bernard Hopkins and one to Anthony Mundine, is a former USBA, NABF and NABA titlist. During his 17-year pro career, Echols has defeated world champion Charles Brewer, Kabary Salem, Oscar Bravo, Ross Thompson and Brian Barbosa, among the more notables, in addition to fighting to draws with world champion Eric Lucas, Mohammad Said, Rubin Williams and Michael Walker.
