MERRIMACK, N.H. (WLNE)- Investigators say they’re searching a lake this weekend for a missing 5-year-old boy who they say went missing six months ago.

Police say Elijah (Eli) Lewis’s unknown whereabouts was only brought to DCYF authorities last week.

State Police were seen launching a boar on Nara-Cook Lake, near where Lewis lives.

Police are looking to his mother and a man who they say could be with them right now.

“At this point, their location is unknown. The one message we have for them if they are out there, please call Merrimack police. Please call New Hampshire State Police,” said New Hampshire Assistant Attorney General Ben Agati.

“We need to talk to you about where is Elijah and we need that information as soon as possible.”
