New York Governor confirms first case of coronavirus in the state

NEW YORK — New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo announced that states first confirmed case of COVID-19 on Sunday.

According to Governor Cuomo, the patient contracted the illness while in Iran and is currently isolated.

The Governor would like to inform the residents of New York that the risk for infection still remains low and there is no reason for “undue anxiety”.
