Newly Acquired Holt Getting Comfortable With Pats

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) – As a rookie more than a decade ago,

Torry Holt was a champion. Now one of the most prolific receivers

in NFL history calls himself something else.

The New England Patriots wide receiver describes himself as

To Holt, that means having good hands and good feet, studying

the game and running precise routes. Holt signed last month after

one season with Tampa Bay. He spent his first 10 years with St.

Louis, winning the Super Bowl with the Rams as a rookie then losing

it to the Patriots two years later.

He doesn't spend much time thinking about joining the team that

beat the Rams. He said Wednesday at New England's organized team

activities that it's time to rejuvenate himself and his team in

hopes of returning to the Super Bowl.
