Newport County residents to be granted free admission to beloved mansions this weekend

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — Newport County residents looking for an activity this weekend can visit some beloved Preservation Society properties for free.

The Breakers, The Elms, Marble House and the Green Animals Topiary Garden will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

Specialty tours such as Beneath The Breakers will not be included in the offer.

The offer is extended to Salve Regina University students and those stationed at Naval Station Newport and their immediate family.

Proof of residence, Naval Station Newport, and Salve student IDs will be required for the free admission.
