Newport Jazz Festival to return in August

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — Officials with the Newport Jazz Festival released the lineup for the 2023 summer concert season.

The three-day festival will be held at Fort Adams from August 4-6.

Friday features headlining acts including ‘Joe Russo’s Almost Dead’ with Kamasi Washington and Anderson Paak.

Saturday will feature acts headed by Jon Batiste and Thundercat.

Sunday’s lineup brings Herbie Hancock, Diana Krall and many more to Fort Adams.

Full price three-day, two-day and all single-day tickets will be available for purchase Thursday, March, 23.
