Newport police search for suspected shoplifters

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — The Newport Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying two people they said shoplifted at a local store.

According to police, at approximately 2:49 p.m. on Saturday, CCTV captured footage of two women that police said stole merchandise from Breakwater Surf Co. on Thames Street.
