Patriots Release Nine Players, Training Camp Roster Set

FOXBORO, Mass. (WLNE) – The NFL announced Sunday that the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos game scheduled for Monday, will be postponed.

The decision comes after news broke this morning that there was another positive COVID-19 test on the Patriots team.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, this latest case makes it the fourth on the team within the past eight days, and the second consecutive week that the Patriots have had to postpone a game as a result of a positive COVID-19 test.

The NFL announced Sunday that the Broncos will play the Patriots in Foxboro next Sunday, October 18 at 1 p.m.
