Night of Wild, Wet Weather In Southern New England
It was a night of wet and wild weather Wednesday, with gusting winds taking down tree limbs and cutting power to thousands of area residents.
2300 people in Seekonk lost power, along with several hundred in Cranston. The problems were compounded as National Grid reported that it was experiencing computer problems for most of the day.
ABC6 Reporter Erin Logan caught up with families in Cranston who were expecting to light their Christmas displays tonight but instead got a light display from police cars, fire trucks, and utility trucks.
