Nine-month old girl falls from second floor window in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — A nine-month-old girl was taken to Hasbro Children’s Hospital after she fell out of a second story window Friday afternoon.

Sources tell ABC6 News that the incident happened on Metcalf Street just after 7:00 p.m.

The baby girl was crawling on the back of a couch when she pressed herself against the screen window, the screen gave way, and she fell to the ground. 

She was transported to Hasbro Children’s Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
