Norfolk police identify woman killed in single-car crash
NORFOLK, Mass. (WLNE) — The Norfolk Police Department identified the woman who was killed in a single-car accident that happened on Friday.
According to police, 54-year-old Pamela Stone, of Taunton died as a result of her injuries after crashing into a tree.
Officials said at 10:31 a.m., on July 7, Norfolk police responded to a report of a crash in the area of the Needham and Main Streets intersection. When responders arrived, they said they found one car that crashed into a tree.
Stone was taken to an area hospital where she later died from her injuries.
“On behalf of the Norfolk Police Department, we would like to extend our condolences to the family and friends of Pamela Stone,” Police Chief Heinz said. “We wish them comfort in their time of mourning.”
The crash remains under investigation by Norfolk Police and Massachusetts State Police.
