North Attleboro theater running fundraiser to benefit injured hockey player

NORTH ATTLEBORO, MASS (WLNE) – Showcase Cinema de Lux in North Attleboro is holding a fundraiser to benefit the Bishop Feehan hockey player who was badly injured in a game back in January.

The movie theater is donating 100% of the ticket proceeds from Monday 2/15 to Thursday 2/18 to help A.J Quetta’s family with the cost of treatment and recovery.

Mark Malinowski, Vice President of Global Marketing stated, “All of us at Showcase Cinemas were shocked and saddened to hear of A.J.’s accident. As an organization with deep community ties, we immediately knew that we wanted to help raise funds to help A.J. and his family during this difficult time. By donating proceeds from ticket sales during February school vacation week, we hope to help make the financial burden a little lighter so they can focus on what really matters: A.J.’s recovery.”

Tickets can be reserved online through the Showcase Cinemas app.
