North Kingstown police ask the public for information on series of car break-ins

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The North Kingstown Police Department said they’re investigating an auto theft and larcenies that happened on Sunday.
Authorities said from late Sunday night into early Monday morning, there was a series of break-ins on parked cars.
The thefts were reported in the area of Heritage, Carriage Hill and Kingswood Roads.
Police ask anyone in the area with surveillance cameras that may have captured any suspicious activity to contact their Detective Division at (401) 294-3361 ext. 8211.
They further stated the importance of locking car doors, hiding valuables and not keeping keys inside of cars.
This inquiry for information comes less than a day after several cars were also burglarized in Woonsocket.
