North Kingstown police investigating reported ‘explosions’

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — North Kingstown police said they are investigating after multiple reports of explosions.

Police said callers said sounds of explosions could be heard in the are of Stony Lane and Old Baptist Road. Police have since responded and surveilled the area.

No suspect has been named and investigators are currently searching neighboring towns.

The investigation remains ongoing and anyone with any information is encouraged to contact their local authorities.
