North Kingstown School Committee discusses status of multiple misconduct investigations
NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The North Kingstown School Committee discussed the status of multiple investigations into misconduct by staff on Tuesday.
Interim Superintendent Michael Waterman said last week that three district employees were placed on leave after they received new complaints from the school community.
Those three employees will be investigated by attorney Michael Oliverio, according to Waterman.
Oliverio led the investigation that the school district was already conducting into claims that former high school basketball coach Aaron Thomas conducted naked “fat checks” on student athletes. Thomas has denied those claims.
