North Kingstown teacher receives special thanks for making distance learning fun and engaging

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) – A teacher in North Kingstown has gone above and beyond since distance learning has been implemented.

His name is Stephen Skaggs and he teaches 5th grade at Stony Lane Elementary School in North Kingstown.

Mr. Skaggs incorporates mini exercise workouts twice daily into his distance learning, to keep the students minds clear and focused.

In addition, it is said that his constant humor helps the students of his class strive to do their best.

To show their appreciation, his students and their parents came together with a parade of vehicles and homemade signs thanking him for making distance learning fun and engaging.
