North Providence’s Finance Director is facing a felony charge from State Police after being accused of messing with chips during a poker game.

The State Police Gaming Unit arrested 36-year-old Justin Cambio on Thursday after they say surveillance video from the casino caught him changing around the chips on the poker table.

He was arrested without incident at City Hall, and released on $10,000 personal recognizance.

Mayor Charlie Lombardi will not comment on Cambio’s future with the town yet, but says that the charge has absolutely nothing to do with his position.
