UPDATE: North Providence locate missing man

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – North Providence Police have canceled a Silver Alert for an elderly man who had been missing since early Thursday morning. 

Police confirmed around 12:30 p.m. Thursday that McDonald, believed to be endangered due to medical conditions, had been located by officers. 

The Silver Alert has been closed.
