Man accused of stabbing his girlfriend held without bail

A North Providence man accused of stabbing
his girlfriend and attempting to kill her was ordered held without bail on
Friday in Kent County Superior Court.
40-year-old Frank Green of Alexander
Street allegedly stabbed his 39-year-old
girlfriend in the neck on Wednesday night then fled the scene. He turned
himself into police on Thursday.
On Feb. 9, Green was arrested for a domestic disorderly conduct. He was
arraigned and released. Green was ordered to have no-contact with his
girlfriend.
The victim is currently in the hospital in stable condition.
Green is scheduled to appear in court again on April 14.
