Nurse strike at Worcester’s St. Vincent Hospital enters third month

WORCESTER, Mass. (WLNE) – A nurses strike at Saint Vincent’s Hospital is now entering its third month.

Hundreds of nurses went on strike back in February, to protest what they claim are unsafe staffing levels.

Union leaders met with the hospital’s parent company, Tenet Healthcare, last Wednesday for a third time.

But those discussions once again ending on a sour note.

Tenet offered salary increases for current staff, but not added staff members.

The nurses’ union not budging either, they say they want more nurses or no deal.
