O’Brien Gives Offense “Clean Slate,” Mayo Remains In Foxboro To Continue Coaching Growth

Tuesday was the first chance this offseason to hear from the 2023 Patriots coaching staff.

The big addition recently was Bill O’Brien returning to his old post as offensive coordinator. The new OC is giving the offense, including QB Mac Jones, a “clean slate” going into the new year, putting last season’s struggles in the rear view.

Jerod Mayo is also back as part of the defensive coaching staff. He talked Tuesday about the opportunity to continue his growth as a coach in New England.
