Officials investigate garage fire in Freetown

Freetown, M.A. (WLNE) – One person is hospitalized after a fire Saturday night on Ashlawn Street.

The fire began in a garage that was detached from the home.

Fire officials say the woman who lived in the home fainted when she saw the fire, but she is now doing well.

There was minor damage to the home, but the SUV and the RV inside the garage are a total loss.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
