Old school building catches fire in Providence
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – A fire broke out at the old Windmill Street Elementary School building in Providence on Sunday around 8 p.m.
It’s a large vacant elementary school on Paul Street.
More than five dozen firefighters responded to the scene and faced heavy fire on the third floor of the building, according to the union Twitter account for Providence firefighters.
The Providence firefighters union finally then tweeting out that the fire was contained to a single classroom.
There were no injuries with this fire.
