One dead after fatal accident on I-95 in Attleboro

ATTLEBORO, Mass (WLNE) – Massachusetts State Police say a man is dead following a crash on I-95 in Attleboro early Saturday morning.

At approximately 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Massachusetts State Police were dispatched to an area south of exit 5 on I-95 in Attleboro for a vehicle accident.

The crash resulted in the ejection of the driver, Leland Clarke, 26, of Randolph.

Police say an initial investigation indicated that the driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

The cause of the crash is still unknown and is currently under investigation.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other people in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
