One dead following crash in Norton

NORTON, MASS. (WLNE)- The Norton Police and Fire Departments rushed to the scene of a motor vehicle crash on Monday at approximately 9:20pm.

When officials arrived at the scene on North Worcester Street they saw an eyewitness performing CPR on the man who was injured.

Rescue crews provided first aid at the scene, however, the driver was pronounced dead shortly after.

The victim was later identified as 28-year-old Mark Sullivan of Norton.

Sullivan was riding a scooter traveling on North Worcester street, when he collided with a gray Honda Accord that was also traveling on North Worcester Street.

The driver of the Accord was not injured in the crash.

The area of the crash was closed for approximately four hours as a result.

No charges have been filed at this time and the incident remains under investigation.
