One month old baby in Connecticut killed by family dog

The father of the baby boy is also a person of interest in a house fire set in a neighboring town

NORWICH, CT (WLNE) – A one month old baby was killed during a dog attack Monday around 8:30 p.m.

Police say the infant was attacked by the family dog.

First responders tried to save the child but were unsuccessful.

Police say the child’s father is also a person of interest in a second alarm fire that broke out in New London Tuesday morning that’s being investigated as an arson.

No one was hurt in the fire but police are still searching for the 32-year-old father named Timothy Settles.

He’s said to be driving a white BMW with New York License Plates.
