One more nice day before weekend changes

PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) — A lovely spring day across Southern New England, and we have one more on tap before the sun fades away for the weekend.

Much like today, Friday will see temperatures in the 60s on average. With a southeast wind, expect upper 50s at the coast, but we could push for 70 farther inland.

Future Temperatures With Wind Arrows

Clouds increase on Saturday with seasonable temperatures near 60. Much-needed rain arrives Sunday and could be heavy at times. Totals of between .5″ and 1″ are expected.

Rain Amounts Models

Futurecast With Temps

It will be breezy, and there could also be a few rumbles of thunder. It has been abnormally dry across the area so this rain is welcomed – though not really this much all at once!

Rain Stat

As the cold front passes through Sunday evening, it will leave behind some chilly air that will stick around for much of next week, with highs will be in the 50s!

Have a great night!
