One person hospitalized after Sunday afternoon stabbing in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- A person was stabbed on Sunday afternoon in Providence, police say.

This stabbing comes following two stabbings and two shootings overnight.

Officers responded to Calder Street at about noon for a report of a stabbing.

The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to investigators.

Police have yet to arrest any suspects and incident remains under investigation.
