Woman killed in Providence hit-and-run

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A woman was killed in a hit-and-run in Providence Saturday evening, according to police.

The woman was hit at about 5 p.m. on Union Avenue near the Route 10 off-ramp.

The woman’s name wasn’t immediately released.
