O’Rourke, Abladian Lead Bryant Men’s Lacrosse Past Bellarmine

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Marc O’Rourke and Bennett Abladian each scored five goals as the Bryant University men’s lacrosse team defeated Bellarmine, 16-12, on Tuesday afternoon at Beirne Stadium.

O’Rourke recorded five goals and two assists, while Abladian added five goals and an assist. Logan McGovern chipped in four assists, while Sam Goforth and Timmy Hackett each finished with three points.

Luke Caracciolo finished with 16 saves and Tanner Alexander added five ground balls.

Coach Pressler’s Comments

“It certainly was not our best effort mentally managing the game, but once again our guys played awfully hard physically against a very good Bellarmine team. It took us four quarters and 60 minutes to get a hard-fought W at both ends of the field. Quick turnaround for us then on to our first overnight trip of the year to play a very well balanced and outstanding Vermont team.”
