Outdoor mask mandate lifted Friday for fully vaccinated residents in MA & RI

PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) – Starting Friday fully vaccinated residents in Rhode Island and Massachusetts don’t need to wear a mask outside.

However, a mask must be worn if you can’t social distance with others.

The states are making those moves in line with CDC guidance.

The agency says it’s very low risk for vaccinated people to be mask less outside unless they are in a large crowd.
