Over 14,000 cases of flour recalled due to E. coli concerns

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health advised Friday of a recall of thousands of cases of flour due to possible E. coli contamination.

The recalled product was distributed through nationwide through different retailers and distributed. The affected products have the following “best used by” dates and lot codes:

BEST USED BY 12/07/19   LOT:   L18A07C
BEST USED BY 12/08/19   LOTS: L18A08A, L18A08B
BEST USED BY 12/14/19   LOTS: L18A14A, L18A14B, L18A14C

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the recalled flour.

Anyone with affected products in their possession are advised not to use them, and should throw them away or return them for credit or a refund.
