Cases and cases of bottled water were being loaded into cars in Pascoag on Friday, after people in town were told their tap water had tested positive for coliform bacteria.

Now although the coliform bacteria isn't itself dangerous, it is often an indicator that there's worse bacteria close by.

People in Pascoag certainly aren't taking any chances, with many people and businesses, stocking up on as much bottled water as they can.

Right now there is no boil order in-effect in Pascoag.

The RI Health Department says it intends to test the town's water again on Saturday to see if the coliform bacteria is still a problem.
