Patrick Chung of the NE Patriots indicted on cocaine possession charges

New England Patriots safety, Patrick Chung, has been charged with possession of cocaine.

Authorities say the charges stem from June 25 when the 32-year-old was discovered in Meredith with cocaine in his possession.

In a statement made by the New England Patriot’s, the team said “We are aware of the reports regarding Patrick Chung. We will not be commenting while his judicial proceedings take place.”

Chung’s arraignment is scheduled for August 28th in New Hampshire. 

For the offense of cocaine possession, he could face a fine up to $2,000 and a possible prison sentence of up to seven years.
